Bathroom lighting help!

last modified: 5 years ago

My bathroom will be about 45 square feet (9 x 5 rectangle). The shower at the back wall will have a recessed light. The double vanity, which is 56 inches long, will be against the wall on the left side of the room. There is a pocket door in the wall on the left wide of the vanity. The toilet is between the vanity and the shower. As far as I can determine, my lighting choices are as follows:

1. Above the vanity lights - one above the 20 inch mirror above each sink. Something like this?

2. Pendant light to the left of the left sink, in the center between the two bowls, and to the right of right sink at eye level, but there are only 3 inches between the wall and the left edge of the sink. I can't find anything narrow and bright enough.

3. If I buy circle mirrors, I could put sconces on the sides of each mirror and between the two, but the sconce would be placed above eye/head level. See example photo.

Help! I appreciate suggestions and thoughts.
