First read about the issues that Wolf has with the blue lining chipping. This has been going for on for well over 10 years. It is well documented on this site With some going through more than one oven.

In order to to deal with this problem, Wolf deigned the M wall oven to have a replaceable bottom. This range looks to be following this design, but look at the bottom to see if there is a removable bottom. They also addd some online functions.

They also moved the convection fans and elements from the back to the corners(“verticross”) and got rid of the convection bake and convection broil mode. People have complained about uneven baking with the “M” wall oven. This is Wolf’s Illustration of the airflow but it has been taken off of their website. The fan blows heated air from the corners.

This creates hot spots on the sides.

I think this is tinkering with something that wasn’t broken.

If you could go to convection bake, it might help that but they took it off.

I think the DF range now is a much better oven in the way it functions but the new one is easier to fix if you have the blue liner chip.
