Kitchen Remodel Help

Hello everyone! We are about to remodel our kitchen - including removing a partial dividing wall to open the space to our living room (engineered beam installation). We are adding about 45% more storage space with this layout as well as updating to a more modern look (kinda transitional is the goal) to match the rest of our house.
I have created a plan in the ikea tool for the layout that I want, but would love some input on things I may be missing. (Also, please ignore the weird errors the tool does - like handle placement and the raised dishwasher).
The bottom cabinets will be dark brown slab doors (Askersund dark brown ash effect) and the uppers will be custom white melamine shaker doors with the center cabinet having 6 paneled frosted glass doors. I used the ikea off-white doors to show the effect I am thinking.
There are no windows near the cabinets, but the wall on the open side of the U is actually a bay window with a dining area that will be staying the same.
Any opinions or suggestions are welcome! And thanks in advance for your help!
