Hoping for houseplant ID

I received a cutting of this plant. The owner called it a "spider" plant. But I think we all can agree this is not a Chlorophytum which is what I think of as a spider plant. I thought it was a philodendron. But the new growth on my cutting just doesn't seem like a philodendron. I'm hoping you all may have some other ideas.

Here is the mother plant which really does look like a philodendron.

Philodendron do get new growth like that. It's a Philodendron, something similar to P. hastatum or P. erubescens.

Thanks! I will take a look at some of those. I don't think it's hastatum though because it seems as hastatum matures, the leaf shape changes. This plant has maintained this same leaf shape after many years of growing. But I will review some more pictures. Appreciate the response.

The sheathed appearance of the leaf stalks was a strong indicator of the basic identification. Since Monstera deliciosa and Epipremnum aureum often grow for extended periods of time in ordinary indoor settings without producing adult leaves maybe the source plant for your Philodendron is behaving in the same manner. With greenhouse conditions or an outdoor planting site in a suitable climate really being needed for full development to be seen.
