I really like the 2 wallpapers on the right. I could see the light wallpaper on the upper half with a darker paint below or all white a below with wainscoting and the darker wallpaper on the right on the upper part. I don't know if this made any sense but hope it helps :)

Depends a lot on the lighting your get in this room. Artificial, natural, and different times of the day light are all going to look different, and may dictate the best color and lightness of your wallpaper. Look at each of these samples during each part of the day. If you go dark, you'll have to compensate by adding a lot of light wall decor and reflective surfaces (if that goes with your style). Also, I wouldn't mix greens and blues in the same areas. I like a neutral in between rooms.

If you have blues in the other areas of your home the second option will carry through to this room.
I’m a light and bright girl so the third is my favorite ...but if you have ample light that come into this room the fourth option will give some drama.

Those small samples don't really give a feel for the paper

I can’t help but be struck on how well sample #4 compliments the display in the vase. Since this is the little bit we see of your choices, I would choose this wallpaper below the chair rail with something a touch brighter, (Benjamin Moore’s ‘Simply White’) on top.

Your room will feel more grounded if you put a light color on top, a darker color at the wainscot area under the chair rail.

janzian is correct about darker shade below chair rail, lighter above it.

Regarding wallpaper, I wouldn't use it. Wall *decorations* are best as pictures, ornaments or even murals. Pasting paper on the wall is asking to be tired of it down the road at which point you have a bigger issue than simply painting.

If rest of house is light green and beige, going in that direction may be a nice transition from hallway especially. It’s hard to comment on your choices based on the size of samples; impossible to imagine a whole wall. There is no right or wrong and it’s really how you want the room to feel.

Wallpapers are also hard to suggest, given taste, but larger botanicals are versatile and can feel modern or traditional.

Imagine this room with the wallpaper below for example. Your decor choices and accessories will also have a major influence.

So here’s the other greens in the house. I didn’t choose them, first time home owner and it’s only been 6 weeks. I don’t want to change the green in the entryway because it goes to the upstairs hallway too, I like it though. I’m starting to think I shouldn’t use a blue but a green or beige would be good and then change the living room lighter green Color?

You commented that you "shouldn't use a blue...", and I just want to emphasize that blue and green go quite well together.

It might be fun to add a board and batten style molding to your chair rail, and paint it your trim color to keep it simple and classic looking.

I like the 2nd one by far the best, though all are nice. It just seems to make more of a statement, and hard to see but it appears to have a "gold" flower that would appear in the pattern occasionally. I could see highlighting that with the chandelier you select...such as something shown in the 3rd photo from Maureen. Hoping you do have some nice outdoor light coming through. I love the navy, but ideally maybe find something navy with a "hint" at least of beige or your green as in your other rooms. A historical toile would be nice. Anthropologie has a very cool mural that might work too. So many choices, right?!

Just saw the photo of your entry. If this is the extent of the "green" , I wouldn't worry about the navy, as I earlier said. It would look great. I love the dark wood on stair rail too. Maybe repeat that either in dining table or chairs, hutch, or heavy frame on artwork displayed in dining room, especially if visible from the entry. Have fun!

I love the one nearest the vase and am a big fan of a dramatic dining room. Since it's a room you don't spend a lot of time in, you can afford to go bold
