Hoping someone can help me figure out how to remove these fingerprint stains from this doorknob. My contractor, bless his heart, is incredibly honest but has left this grease(?) stain on it. I would like try and remove it myself before I talk to him.

I have already tried soap and water and am nervous to try anything more harsh. The knob is “satin brass”. TIA!!
