What were you using to clean them before that made them dull?

Is that a good idea to use the Revitalizer regularly, since it has a built-in sealer? Doesn't over-sealing cause a hazy appearance?

Why did the counter get dull in the first place? Was it sealed properly? Was too much sealer applied? Are you letting grease, gunk, etc build up over time -- you're not keeping up on regular cleaning?

My counter was over-sealed at install (long story...) and it was hazy. I used acetone to strip off the excess, made a noticeable difference.

My advice would be use the acetone, reseal if needed, and then clean it regularly with something like a 1:2 or 1:1 mix of rubbing alcohol-water spray, or just use warm dish-soapy water then rinse with plain water. Your counters shouldn't be getting dull if they're sealed properly, are not not over-sealed, and are kept clean.

I set fire to a customer's stainless steel sink once using acetone. No harm, no foul, but dang did I panic for a few seconds. Careful please.

You say acetone do you the kind you use to take off finger nail polish.how long do I leave it on?
Just pour it on or should I put it in a spray bottle? Sorry never did this before

spray the acetone on or wet a rag and then wipe vigorously. have windows open and forced air like a big window fan.
