We recently moved into a rental property, and it has a jet tub in one of the bathrooms but the jets are broken. When I did a deep clean, the intake cover/hole were caked in muck and after lots of scrubbing and rinsing, I’m still getting periodic muck come out. I sent photos to the land lord and they had me fill up the bathtub with diluted bleach water enough to cover all the holes then let it sit. Then she came over and cleaned out the cover, intake hole, and a bit into the pipe. However, I still worry about sitting water in the pipes and stuff growing in there if the jets aren't continuously pumping water through. Is there anyway to clean? Or are the only options fix the jet or replace the tub?? Thanks!
