Hi there! I know you're looking at tile, however if it helps we do actually work with backsplashes and we work with stainless steel and brass. Perhaps a style that we have had clients use for range hoods would work as a "mock tile" metal backsplash? Brushed stainless steel pieces with polished brass woven in between. Just an idea! I posted a picture of a hood that has that polished "gold" brass and the silver to see if these are the colors you're referencing. Otherwise the tiles used in this photo (not by us) maybe would work if you integrated a gold tile in every so often.

Have you considered slab glass backsplash? Any design can be printed on it and, to me, that's the best option for modern kitchen...

I just put in a new kitchen with white cabinets, gold handles and my backsplash is subway tiles from Bedrosians, called Cashmere, they look more like a champagne gold. I love them.

Easily resolved: Put both "gold" and "silver" color/tiles in or on your mostly white backsplash -- actual tiles with art or just color. and/or add the gold color with towel ring or bar; pot holder hooks; magnetic knife holder, etc.
