What’s that small grass in the foreground

What a wonderful garden! I’m on the Gulf Islands in BC and looking for new grasses that would work in a drought resistant situation. I find it hard to find shorter grasses other than the fescues.

    thanks! What a lovely location...I'd love to visit your islands one day. That is blue grama grass or Bouteloua gracilis Blonde Ambition. Very drought tolerant, but slow to fill out in spring. Has lovely seedheads.
