Selecting stain for new handrail

I’m installing a new handrail with black balusters. The floor and treads are a dark walnut stain on red oak but looks more red than brown. Should I try to match the handrail with the treads and floor or do something different?

    To be sure...a picture would help...either above suggestions will work...in any case matching the stain could be a challenge if the woods are different...a staircase is usually a “feature”...so seeing the setting can make a difference
