Have you chosen a backsplash tile? What are your floors? If it were me I’d want either the walls or the splash to have some sort of color, even if it’s very subtle.

Yes great question. so floors are dark walnut hardwood so there is some contrast there. Trying to decide backsplash. Current options attached. Worried the #1 would be TOO much and with #3 (bedrosians Chloe), worried the taupe tones clash with marble. So still on the hunt unless I choose white shiny textural tile (#2)

You’re right about the contrast with off-white and marble which is cooler-more white rather than yellow. BM Oxford white is a tinge gray. I recommend Googling ‘Maria Killam’...she had a blog and sells e-books about color...everything from wall color to back splashes/counters and cabinets. Came in handy when I was trying to figure out paint colors. What type of bulbs are you using? 2700-3000-3500-4000? I found the 4K are as bright as I could possibly go. Anything lower and the BM Chantilly Lace would have looked more yellow. What direction does the natural light come from during the day? If there’s plastic I’m covering the windows it will make a difference because the walls are reflecting that too. Maybe try a daytime pic, with the plastic removed to get a better idea. Good luck!

These colors don’t look dark at all! Your kitchen is lit up like a football stadium 😂 I think you’ll find once you are further along with your lovely kitchen these colors will recede in intensity! Make sure you choose everything first before you pick your paint though!

White Dove is too dingy (at least in my space).

Alabaster is similar to white dove, maybe warmer. I used Simply White in my room and love it. It's neither yellow or blue.

for the walls, maybe go w/warmer gray/taupe/beige?

putting the colors above your doors and the wall farthest away, partially blocked by island, isn’t seeing them in pure daylight. None of them are remotely dark, however i suspect some of them may not look right next to your cabinet white, so that is what you should be checking the colors next to. Once you’ve found a few that don’t clash with cabinets, then consider just those in other areas of the room and light conditions to finalize selection.

You don’t want to pick the white that looks best or lightest on the walls only to find it clashes or makes your cabinets look dingy, off, dirty, etc.

I like the darkest backsplash. You need a little contrast. No more white!

I wanted to clarify I don’t think think the 3 look dark, it’s the fact that colors that are usually much lighter are appearing much darker- for example white dove and silver satin if anyone is familiar. White dove is usually a very light off white and silver satin a very light grey. Thanks all!

Choose a few favorites and get samples with them lightened 25%, I lighten all my paint colors!

Beautiful counters and love walnut floors. I highly recommend you paint your samples on poster boards to move around in your room. Never paint the samples directly on the wall as you interpret color in comparison to color near it.

Compare your favorites next to your cabinetry and backsplash/counter--- most important comparison. May be helpful to think about the finish for the island pendants. If not already, be sure your cans (and pendants) have dimmer option.

Be aware, the finish of the sample impacts how "light or dark" you interpret the color to be. Flat paint absorbs light and will appear lighter; be sure you sample the finish you desire. Have fun!
