Quick update to oak cabinets

Looking for help to update this kitchen! i want to introduce black hardware pulls and knobs and white blacksplash and a lighter quartz countertop down the road.. step by step! wondering input for the following. Hoping to update cabinets as is without painting/staining just yet.

1) what lights can we replace the track lights with? (same location)

2) any suggestions on what to do with cabinets down the road?

I don't mind you cabinets at all, it's the backsplash that needs to go. Something simple, with some texture but NOT mosaic pattern ;)

As for lights, these are the best...canless led downlight. They look like can lights but just clip to your drywall. Your electrician will drill a 4" or 6-in hole in your ceiling, add the extra wiring and clip these lights in. Super quick and easy. Looks awesome.

*I just pulled a random image from the internet. Talk to your electrician about the best brand to use.

We definitely think removing the backsplash and changing the countertops will work in your favor. We might suggest looking at simple countertops and a simple subway tile backsplash.
