Yeah, not the best but not horrible. So, you think the Schluter is ok?

I agree the workmanship is awful. If it were mitered and clean looking I don't think it would look bad at all.

You have light grout- I don’t think that the white is that jarring. I doubt painting it would improve the look.

Thanks! I'll bring up the workmanship. Yeah, I can see what you're saying and I'll talk to him to see if he can re-do it. I've never worked with shluter before so I wasn't sure if mitering it was possible. Glad you mentioned it

Not to change the subject but I digress. Make sure the tiler removes that grout at the changes of plane and uses color matched 100% silicone instead.

@millworkman, thanks for the advice. Do you suggest every change of plan or just the vertical one where the two walls meet? Also, is that possible without taking all of the tile out and doing that part again? Can you just "scrape" the grout out and replace with silicone?

Every change in plane and yes the grout gets scraped with a utility knife/grout removal tool, the joint cleaned well and silicone caulk applied. Sooner the better as grout gets harder as it sits and cures.

Is this the profile that was agreed upon during the design stage? It had to be approved at some point. Just establishing who would pay to change it. A lot of work and risk to replace it now.

Is it waterproofed?

Nice tile work, but the schulter was cut way too short, and its soooo obvious. Attention to detail missing on this one. Take it all schulter out and have it redone, with precision this time!

This is why Im not a fan of schluter. If its not done perfectly, mitered tile corners look more seamless.
