It's amazing how many things have been affected. We ordered furniture in August. Just got it 2 weeks ago. We ordered a hot tub. We probably won't see that until June or July. I was scared one of my appliances would die and we would need something new but wouldn't be able to get it. Washer needed to be replaced. Luckily Best Buy had the washer I wanted and it was delivered within a week. Maybe try to look on Best Buy to see what they have. Good luck.

I’d put your old appliances in until the new ones come arrive.

We had the same problem in the fall when we needed to replace our dishwasher. I was able to get one by driving a few hours and picking one up from a large appliance store that had its own warehouse. I would suggest calling around and see if you can find one that way.

You may have better luck with local appliance dealers that are part of a larger purchasing group. Have a back up plan in place, if necessary. You may find some more recent information on your topic at YaleAppliance.com.
