Hi, Do you have any interior pictures to share?

Starting with the front entry. I would paint the door navy blue, to give it some definition.

The trim around it should all be white - it looks like some of it is a cream or beige colour right now.

The fancy metal post/support for the roof, needs a going over with a metal brush and then some white paint on that too. Or black would work too, but if it is staying, give it some love and a fresh coat of paint.

Come summer, power wash the concrete entry when you are working on the siding.

Then some colourful flowers in a pot and that space will look great.

The back, where it is 2 levels, I'm guessing that is a screened in porch area in the lower level?

I'm also guessing those are metal storm doors leading out to ground level. Those aren't doing you any favours. Keep an eye out at Habitat for Humanity restores for some nice looking wood doors that could replace what is there. They often have sliders or french doors that are brand new. Some big box stores donate special orders that were incorrect or returned etc. You might be amazed what you can find for excellent prices.

It appears to be red around the doors and windows. I'd paint that white to match the rest of the trim.

The back door on the upper level, I'd paint that the same navy as the front door.

Looks like metal railings on the upper deck. Do they need some love? Like the metal at the front door, a rub with a metal brush to lift flaking paint or any rust and then some paint. Black or white - either would work.

If you can post some interior pictures, you'll get help with that too and maybe an idea of your budget and some inspiration pictures so folks will understand your style and what you envision.

I would definitely paint the metal support posts in the front. Either white or black. I would not do the doors in Navy though, especially the front door. It needs a brighter color to make it pop and more noticable for a front entry. I definitely agree on those aluminum doors in the back. They should be switched to something white. Lots of painting needs to be done under eves and elsewhere, once it warms up enough to do so. It is a very cute cottage.

For an MCM home like this the white trim is too large and the windows too small

When you find the funds I would replace the front window

The color of the front door makes no difference if the storm door remains over it. Leave them both white.

Thanks for all the great ideas. This is the inside currently. The kitchen is ripped out but this gives you an idea of the space we are working with. We closed in the door in the kitchen and are using that space for a bathroom.
