Hi everyone, i recently got a BOP which was about to be thrown out. it had a mealy bug infestation which i sorted out. The plant was under watered so the leaves were curling.

I have repotted the plant and have been giving it water about once a month. The new leaves are coming though but they are all deformed. Some are barely leaves some are fused together. Why is this happening? how can i fix it?

ps: the white stones are to stop my cats from digging the soil.
