Vanity lighting advice

last modified: 5 years ago

We have a long, single-sink vanity in our master bathroom. We recently took out a large single mirror and want to replace with double mirrors that add more interest (potential option here, which are 48in tall). Then, we want to have either three sconces or pendants -- the pendants would be three single lights, and the sconces could be 2 single lights on the ends with a double light in the middle.

Here are some photos and a very rough (not to scale at all!) drawing for reference. (Just ignore current placement of cabinets, sink, light, etc., and those corner wood shelves are coming out.) The basic question is: sconces or pendants? (And should we put small recessed lights centered over each mirror for good measure?) Thanks for any thoughts!
