Looks you might have the same rug our daughter does. I think hers came from Wayfair.

It looks good. Simple and functional without looking too busy or "styled". Instead of the white book, you could place the other items on a large white tray, which makes it easy to move when you want to.

When someone is sitting on the couch what are they looking at? I like what you have and agree with adding some color but I find the vase & grass (?) too tall and if sitting on the couch would have to be looking through the vase to something?
