You absolutely can have a modern/glam/traditional room and this furniture is perfect for that. It has such nice curves and rich woods — it’s a great base for the glam look you want. Gives a cool, interesting, collected vibe.

I‘m not suggesting any of these items specifically, since I can’t see the whole room or rest of house .... just wanting to show an example of going more sleek and mod around your set. Possibly adding a modern metal console with mirror on the big wall, and extra chairs beside it.

Art, chandelier, vase, rug, and chair fabric ...

If you haven’t already, do some searches such as, ‘modern traditional dining rooms’, etc. Lots of inspiration.

I’d do a wallpaper faster than accent wall, or paint. Wainscot it and wallpaper. It’ll look like a new space. After that’s done you’ll see if your ready to move on with the furniture, with some of it, or none at all.

Wainscoting would only add to the traditional look. Change the chandelier and add a patterned fabric for seat covers. Is the top ornament on the china cabinet removable? That would lighten it up. Changing the interior arrangement of the cabinet to not just china, adding something silver or gold to blend with the metal of the chandelier or other furniture.
