Admittedly, my title is a little clickbait, but technically, I did build a bulletproof shower, out of 12mm thick Makrolon AR boards (polycarbonate, like Lexan MR10, abrasion resistant).

But that was not the primary goal (although you never know, when your wife gets angry because you spend too much time in the shower LOL). My primary goals were to build a shower that:

• looks nice
• has a lower risk of leakages
• and if a leak happens, it's easy to see and repair

With this in mind, I settled for a 4 sided transparent shower, about 15 cm away from the wall, with all the water inlets and outlet either on top of the shower, or under the shower pan, all with easy access. No holes whatsoever in the side panels, except for the door of course :-)
