I have a black swallowtail chrysalis on the dill plant in my backyard and it looks like the bottom thread holding it on the stem has broke so the entire chrysalis is held up by the top one. It looks like it digs into the sides a little bit and I was wondering if it was harming the butterfly. Also there are some brown streaks along the sides of the chrysalis and I was wondering if that is normal coloration or if the chrysalis was a little damaged from the wind because the bottom is not secure? Should I move the chrysalis? Here is the best photo I could take:
