Curious what you ended up doing with your stairs. We have the same issue. My contractor told me that vinyl steps don’t hold up well.

@jenwinston73 We just had the calypso oak installed on the main level of a remodel and they are gorgeous. Coretec makes stair treads and that's what we used. They turned out great! We also got matching inset vents that were a little bit of a splurge but worth it!

Sue, do you have a picture of your Calypso Oak stair treads? Would love to see the stairs and the floors .

That looks great. Is it Calypso Oak? I couldn’t find that on their website. We ended up getting stair noses which doesn’t look as clean as a full tread. It looks ok, but wish we had the full tread.

It is Calypso Oak. I was told that Coretec is the only one that makes matching stair treads. We are very happy with the way it turned out.

For those that have installed Calypso Oak on stairs and main levels, how is it holding up 2,4, 10 years after the fact? I wanted to installed LVP to have in my entry way, on stair, and on my main level, but my contractor had a lot of negative things to say about LVP and scratches. Any feedback would be appreciated.
