I love the back-lit slab. What was the material used as I’ve heard that natural stone can be a problem in steam showers. How did you ensure a seal to protect the light but still change the bulb when it goes out?

Hi,

I will contact the designer to get the slab species for you. In our experience most stones are ok in showers but soft stones like limestone and sandstone can deteriorate in a wet/steamy shower condition.

The slab shown in the photo Brazilian Quartzite sourced from Meta Marble and Granite in Seattle. It is not backlit, it is lit by a continuous LED light strip on all 4 sides. I hope that helps!
