Lastly, where is the electrical now for the mirror area? Looks like you have the old-style 7-9 inch square cans, I assume also there is a drop ceiling for a reason?

Find a match for the tile for wall paint. When you paint the “drop box” over the tub paint the underside the same as walls. It will help blend it in.

There are lots of way to hang or place a mirror on or in front of a window.
