We are considering a remodel to add an office and expand family room on main floor of house. This also gives us opportunity to expand the basement.

This is the current basement layout:

Have a small storage area with 15' of shelves, and a small wetbar with fridge, and then a large living area which we have informally split between a play area and an ad hoc theater

We would like to add a large bedroom and dedicated home theater while maintaining the wetbar and storage shelves.
