I've been searching. What else can you say about the set? Where did she purchase it? Is it from Europe? Was it expensive? Is that the only mark on any of the items?

The one that I find MOST similar to that mark is Royal Crown Derby, which had several iterations of markings. But what I mean by this is that the crown itself looks similar, but obviously it lacks the secondary imagery below. Here's a link to an image search I did:

After googling around, I do see that there have been a bunch of inexpensive knockoffs. I see that other people run up against this, with "lookalike" marks. Do you suspect this is a less expensive knockoff of expensive china?

Thank you so much for your sleuthing! I am not sure when or where she got the set. They did live in Europe and also in Panama and South Korea (they were an Army family). She was using it when I was a child in the early seventies. She passed in 2000. I very much doubt it was a knockoff as she was an extremely particular personality who loved her china, silver, and linens. (didn't own any jewelry that wasn't silver or gold. ) I was wondering if the green color may indicate Bavarian make. Some of the Nippon crowns are also similar, but not identical.

My Kovel's didn't show the exact mark, but the Royal Crown Derby was the closest.

Well, it is certainly interesting!! Do you suppose she came back stateside and brought her china with her? Do people pack their china for that kind of move? Idk, I’m just asking. It seems like the crown logo is associated with The Netherlands, England, Denmark... perhaps there’s a European equivalent of Replacements Unlimited over there?

You say she lived in South Korea. It would be my guess that she bought the china there and brought it back. The fact that there is no country name indicates it was not made for export. Some how it looks Asian...but could easily be German.
