We used gold knobs and like them against the white cabinets. They look good with the Taj Mahal as well.

We put Taj in my Dad's remodel with white cabinets. It's was a collaborative project with 3 siblings doing the project for him. I wanted dark pulls and knobs, but the other siblings wanted something in the silver color family. So we did end up with satin nickel. This is the hardware we ordered:

That same collection came in a dark bronze which is what I wanted bc there is some stone and dark wood elements in the near by family room, so I thought it would look nice. We ordered 1 knob and 1 pull from each color and took a vote and I lost.

But in the end, I think it looks good and I wanted everyone to be happy. My sister put in a copper color which looks brushed, not shiny which looks nice on her white cabinets. Since Taj can lean more cool/gray or more warm/tan. maybe your particular stone will help to guide you.
