Beautiful garden shot, Sherry!

Try as we do, we can never seem to get rid of the Noids. We added one just the other day and 3 last season. A few we keep, but most are sold (at the local herb society's annual event--many buyers don't care if a pretty daylily has a name).

This was supposed to be Carnival Splendor, which has a big red eye. It's a beautiful flower though. We haven't contacted the seller and now we have another one from the same seller that is misidentified. Bob took a picture of it in the greenhouse the other day, but I don't have access to the picture. It was supposed to be Maryott's Ultimate Design (again, with a big red eye), but it's rose red. We will be contacting the seller soon. Out of 3 purchased last season, 2 have been wrong. I know mistakes can happen, but that's not a good track record.

This was supposed to Penelope's Smile. I was very excited when this one had buds last season. It was growing so well and I had high hopes that this Louisiana bred daylily would do well for us. Penelope's Smile is pink with teeth. This one will be sold at the Herb Fair this year.

This was supposed to be Rose F. Kennedy. This one has already left the garden. We gave it to someone who just wanted to grow some pretty daylilies.

This one will stay in the garden. It was purchased with no name early in our daylily collection. It's a tet (we have successfully crossed it with tets) and very vigorous. It recently was moved to a new spot and did very well last season. Someone on this forum suggested it might be Opera Elegance. It looks like the pictures (what few I could find) and the stats seem similar. If I could find one for sale, I would buy it to compare the two. As you might imagine, Bob loves this one.

I wish I knew the name of this one. It came from the Region 2 Summer Conference that was held in Indianapolis a few years ago. It was a tiny fan that slipped out of its label and was given to us.

Finding a name for this one is at a dead end. The sellers didn't recognize it. They thought it might be a seedling that grew up in the patch of daylilies. We have had this happen so they could be right.

Peren, thanks for the suggestion of Frans Hal. However, I used to have Frans and this was different.

Laurie, Sammy looks like a good guess, the cultivar Age and stats match. I think you’ve got it figured out.

Brad not knowing the specs on your red and yellow bitone , could it be Howdy ? or what about the daylily Jean?

Hoosier_nan , I feel like I know that little pale pink with white midrib . I just have to think of the name . It may take me a while .

Here's our newest Noid. It's too bad we don't know its name. It's quite nice. It was blooming in the greenhouse the other day.

Hoosier Nan - It reminds me of The Ultimate Sacrifice, but doesn't have the edge I see here. What is the bloom size?

Debra, it's interesting that you say it looks like The Ultimate Sacrifice. It's supposed to Ultimate Design. I wonder if the seller just got the two mixed up. I'm not sure how big the flower is. I think one is blooming today. I'll see if I can measure it.

We sent an email to the seller. We'll see if he responds.

Hoosier Nan - Since you ordered Ultimate Design, I'm guessing you got this one from Schreiner's. They don't have The Ultimate Sacrifice, but they do have Korth's One Foundation, which looks similar. I would bet that's what your NOID is.

Debra, it wasn't Schreiner's. We emailed seller (I don't want to say his name--don't want to bad mouth him since he made it right) yesterday and he has refunded our money for the two and apologized for the mistake. He said the white one is probably Arctic Bear, but the two names he suggested for the red one don't match what we are seeing. The good news is that he still has Ultimate Design to sell so we will be getting that one this spring.

Nancy, that third one reminds me very much of Polkville Princess. It was overcome by a vole before I learned how to get rid of them. That last one looks like Brushed With Honey. I have it and it was sent by mistake to me for another one. It Is a small flower but tall and reblooms reallly really, really well here.

I have several noids however I don't have pictures of many of them this year. Only found two images that I had marked as an unknown and took a picture of . Any guesses ?

Brad could your second yellow one from the little old lady be Green Flutter ?
