awkward bedroom

My adult daughter is living at home for a few months visiting and I'm thrilled to have her, but we're having trouble retrofitting her (large, thankfully!) bedroom to work as both a "before and after work" space (just that she has a comfortable chair to sit in) and a desk with a semi-professional background to work from. I'm attaching the room's layout as it currently is. It's ok, but it's awkward to have the desk right at the door, and we're just struggling to come up with another option. The desk used to be next to the fireplace where the large chest is now, but it made for congestion between the bed and closets. Both closets need to be able to fully open both doors (you can't access the storage on the side walls because of built-ins at the bottom of the closet otherwise), and this is stopping us from what seems like the best plan: putting the desk to the left of the bed against the window and in place of the bedside table. We can't get this to work because it ends up with the desk ending halfway across the window which just looks sloppy, to be honest. ANY suggestions (even new or different furniture) or diversion to helpful photos/inspiration/articles

would be appreciated. Thanks very much. ( did my best but photo likely not to scale)
