I had this dining room table prior to moving into the house. its really too big for the narrow space. It is driving me crazy as there is only 3 feet between the edge of the kitchen peninsula and the table. It is too cramped, especially if people are sitting at both. Entertaining flow is bad too. I've thought of doing a banquette on the wall and pushing the whole table to the right, but the only banquette that will fit this table is expensive and I'm not sure if I like that idea as I have young children and the banquette is fabric. I do very much like the open space it will provide. Thoughts would be much appreciated.
