Teeny weenie Serpens

My tiny Serpens is finally starting to put out some new growth. I see two new leafless vines have formed. I expect, like its larger cousins, they will produce leaves at some point. I received two very small rooted cuttings from a friend in June 2020. I planted them into chunky mix and sort of laid them on the top of the soil hoping the aerial roots may anchor as well. Then I put it in a cloche. It has done nothing but survive since. I was concerned but figured if it was alive then that's something! Serpens is so tiny, so delicate. I didn't want to mess with it too much.
