Hi Tracey! Thank you for your comment. Our firm usually uses paneled dishwashers in our designs. You can see how we incorporate microwaves into islands in a few projects -- check out Harding Boulevard, Summit Avenue, and Waterford on our project page. They all have views of the working side of the islands. Island Lake, on our website, also has an island microwave. Lakeshore Cottage and Humboldt Avenue, both on our Houzz page, also have microwaves visible, but they're incorporated in the wall cabinetry. Good luck with your project-- we hope that helps!
