Design Dilemma Remodeling Kitchens

Countertop and backsplash tile

Hello,

I have some leftover Walker Zanger tile that I would like to use on a kitchen remodel and wondered if you thought either of these countertops would work with the tile? The lighter one is Cambria Windermere and the darker is Cambria Linwood.

I have included a picture that shows the floor also.

Neither.

There always seems to be a problem with matching Cambria products up with a backsplash.

Your white tile does seem to be a good match for the cabinets. I just don’t think it is a good match for those two counters. Cambria should have other choices with whiter backgrounds similar to the tile.

Just my opinion, but I look at hardwood floors as a neutral. If your floor selection was a tile then I always feel the floor tile should somehow relate to the counter and the backsplash. But for me hardwood is a different story.

If you have it narrowed down to only those two, I'd pick the lighter countertop.
