Seeking some advice on the brand french door to choose. We are trying to determine the best option (quality/price) for the french door replacement. Pella prides itself on the quality of its product (wood interior door with the clad exterior) and not having to choose a contractor to install your door.

Pella includes the cost of installation on their price, while Marvin allows you to find your own contractor. One of the sales tactics we have heard from both Pella and Renewal by Andersen (we are not selecting the latter one) is that we don't have to go through a contractor's warranty should the install be done incorrectly.

The price difference between the Pella Lifestyle and Marvin Elevate with installation is about 3,000. Is Pella Lifestyle a much better product than Marvin Elevate that justifies the difference in price?
