I can't read any dimensions but the L shaped island seems really forced, if you need that much seating you are better off with a table where people can actually sit together comfortably at chairs.

Thanks Hallet & Co., hopefully this is more readable. My issue is the breakfast area is only 7' wide - not enough space for a table so I'm not sure what else to do with it. The builder (1998) made an odd shaped peninsula to allow for a table but wastes a ton of cabinet space. The bar seating would not be used for family/group meals, just casual eating and hanging out while working in the kitchen.

Since I'm not usually checking the oven time and again, but I am in and out of the fridge repeatedly while cooking, I'd rather have those two appliances flipped. Or I'd want the cooktop at the oven end and the fridge where the cooktop is, with ovens where the fridge is. Not sure where the 7' breakfast area is, but I'd want the micro and fridge easily accessible from the table so you can grab the mayo or warm up a cold plate.
