How many in the family? Could you get a smaller table with extension leaves for when you have more diners?

Just the 2 of us for now but we have our parents visting/ staying or few friends , yes the extension leaves would work well .. thank you for the suggestion.

Gas/water lines. I would keep them as close to the house as possible as it is a connection and if you were adding a sink/grille area it would most likely be as far from the door as possible (smoke etc.) It is a smaller lanai. For the kitchen...if you are placing stools at the counter please leave at least 36" to the table and you will need 36" on the other side for walking around chairs in use. If needed a bit smaller is fine but that should (with a little math) give you a rough sizing for an extendable square or rectangular table width, being your only dining area. You could get a circular table which extends to an oval. That would make walking around it easier.

Wait until you're in to decide on the table. Sometimes it's hard to judge the spaces when they are unfinished. I would put the outdoor gas connection on the outside corner of the grand room where it connects with the lanai. The bbq would then be away from the windows, and you can place it on an extended patio around the corner from the lanai so you don't see it.
