Hi, we are in the process of finishing our basement and have run into an issue with concrete baseboards, they run along one wall. I’m trying to get suggestions on what to do here? Should they be enclosed, painted? Or something else. Our contractor suggested carpet but we are doing LVP and I think it wouldn’t look right.

They are about 4x4 and 24” long. I’m enclosing some photos for ideas
