Glass backsplash-cool or out of style?

This is our basement kitchenette in our lakehouse. We bought it last year with this glass backsplash-it is in 3 pieces, not one solid piece. Opinions-is this a good look, or outdated. I'm indecisive on what to think about it.

Personally, I don't like the mirror look on a backsplash :/. Sorry

I agree with kuasula. Not a fan. It looks more bathroom style than glam kitchen...and once you actually use the sink you are constantly wiping up water splatters off the mirror behind it. Ceramic subway tiles have gleam and look like they belong there, or granite, etc. Not sure why mirror looks dated to me, but it kind of does. It also doesn't look like it was cut to fit, as it overhangs the cabinets too much. Good luck, let us know what you decide to do and post pictures of the AFTER, if there is one. :)

mirror needs to go. a simple subway in ceramic or glass. OR a glass/stone vertical mosaic or penny round.
