Tomato Pests & Diseases Growing Tomatoes Container Gardening

What is going on with this tomato plant?

Can anyone identify what might be wrong with our tomato plant? Some of the leaves look like this. If you can identify it, what can we do to get the plant healthy again? We're in zone 9b-10b and the plant is in a raised bed with other plants. Thank you in advance.

I suspect it’s a nutrient deficiency.

Did it start on the lower leaves, or is it all over the plant? Are these spots forming more defined circles with edges, or staying irregular?

JoJo, it started in the middle of the plant on a few branches and hasn't spread. The spots were irregular. My husband said he pruned off those few affected branches which accounted for about 10% of all the leaves on the plant. He thinks maybe this happened because the soil wasn't draining properly. He fixed that and withheld watering for a couple days. All seems to be okay with the rest of the plant so far. I'll let you all know if anything changes.

Mine did that with too much insectsidal soap
