I found a place that has Gypsy Romance but then I read some bad reviews about them and not sure it's worth trying as shipping charges alone would be $12.00.

I've only ordered from Sutton's and Schreiner’s and Schreiner’s does have Lady Friend but not the others.

No but I will try to send someone along who has. I was just chatting with a friend today about spring and she mentioned they are starting sales tomorrow and it sounded like she has ordered before. I started browsing their catalog and was really amazed we had such a great iris farm here in Denver. I'm hoping go visit it when things are blooming. I'm new to all these exotic irises. We had a swap two years ago where we got some fantastic ones. I never knew they came in such fantastic color combinations.

Edit: turns out she hasn't ordered from them either.

Gypsy Romance and Lady Friend are also available from Willow Bend. I can vouch for them. I've been visiting them and buying from them for three years now. They sell nice big rhizomes. Some of the ones I bought from them even bloomed the first season.

Thank you mmmm12COzone5. I looked again and they are showing to have it now so I placed an order. Last time I looked it appeared to be sold out. Maybe someone never sent payment. I hope I like them as they have a few others (sold out this year) that I want.

Will do. I've planted them twice already and they just disappear. It's really wierd. We made a slightly raised iris bed a few years ago and they haven't done good at all. I bet we've planted around 30 different ones and now have about 8. None will continue to live in half the bed. Hubby thinks maybe something is washing down from neighbors yard. Nothing else I've put there has lived either except zinnia's and ruellia.

Can you post a picture of your Iris Bed?

This was the first year (2020) of blooms. Bed was built summer of 2019. Most of these are gone and I've replaced a couple of times. Probably thirty something total. I've bought Gypsy Romance twice and not a single bloom either time.

This year there are only about seven total iris remaining.

There are no iris remaining on the right half of the bed. I've replaced twice since these original ones.

Almost none of my iris bloomed last year. Hoping for more of a display this year. There are several colors I've never seen since I added a bunch a couple of years ago.
