My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
We are looking to build a 2m x 3.75m x 3.1m terrarium in a garage to house multiple species of frogs, geckos terrapins and a panther chameleon. The idea is to have a tropical vivarium mimicking as closely as possible the madagascar coastal region.
Anyone been through a project similar to this? any tips on what we should watch out for?
Never have done this and, living as I do in an apt, likely never will. However, what immediately comes to mind, is making sure that the temperature on that wall of the garage, and the garage as a whole, stays within safe parameters for the viv's inhabitants. You'll want to have contigencies planned out for events like unusually cold winters, hot summers, and power outages.
