This is beautiful, the contrast of the title is great. The hammered copper sink is a very unique touch as well. The details of the forest and the wild life fits very nicely into the atmosphere that Tahoe invokes.

I'm usually not a big fan of brown granite/cabs/etc, but this one is beautiful! The copper details and the blue tile in particular really make the space super-inviting and interesting.

The granite was a good choice as was the tile backsplash.

Will the copper acquire a verdigris as it ages or does one polish it to prevent this or does it have a special finish so it doesn't need polishing and won't acquire the verdigris?

(Although the tile color would be very simpatico with copper verdigris!)

Hi Loobab! Thank you for your nice comments! We love all the elements this homeowner selected. The copper finish Saddleworth cabinet pulls are lacquered to protect the finish. Simply wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. Faucet, sink, backsplash should also be protected to preserve the finish. We do not believe a copper cleaner is needed. We do agree that verdigris aging would look good with the tile.
