No recommendations came with the test report?

I don't know if they give recommendations, but I have seen some of the LL recommendations and they are nothing, Nothing, like what morph and Andy provide. Those guys will tell you what to do, why, when, how often, why not to do something else, and where to buy the generic stuff you need. The LL recommendations are more like, 'use a good 20-5-12 fertilizer and add lime.' Kinda pitiful.

What you are buying for $25 at LL is a complete, accurate, and reliable test. The list of tests they run for $25 goes beyond what the university tests will do for $10. In fact you can buy the extra tests from your university, but they 1) cost extra, 2) may take longer to do because they have to source the test supplies, 3) may take longer because the personnel doing the testing only do those tests on request, so they have to brush up on how to do do them every time. Since Logan Labs runs those tests every time, they can buy testing supplies in large bulk to keep cost down and can run them quickly. The people they have doing the reading are good but not nearly as enthusiastic as hobbyists like morph and Andy.

Usually you just click on the person's screen name and look around at their profile page to see if they allow private messaging. If you were looking for morph's page, it seems to be gone. I'll look into that for you.

morpheuspa's account - both of them - were closed by Houzz admin. I won't go into the details but it was for cause.

Given that the Houzz admins are not all that into the squabbles that go on here, I would take the previous msg with a grain of salt. But he did pull his accounts and is gone. You can still find him on the other lawn forum, though. He IS one of the admins over there.

Since they - Houzz admin - were very publicly involved in what were significantly more than mere "squabbles", you can draw your own conclusions. As I said, the accounts were closed for cause. No voluntary "pulling of accounts" with that ego!
