A photo of the windows would help. You might be able to use a drapery panel on the outer sides only of each window, but it depends on their placement on the wall. And the panels need to be full enough that they appear wide enough to cover the window, even if they are just stationary panels. You might also consider putting drapes in between the windows to soften the whole wall. What is your reasoning for only using one panel?

The top picture represents what I am wanting to do or maybe slightly drape/tieback the panel. There is not enough yardage of the fabric I would really like to use--great colors with the coverlet. There may be enough of the fabric to place a narrow band on the dust ruffle. The bed headboard would be between the two windows. Thanks for your help

You might consider drapes in a color that blends with your wall color, so they soften the windows without too much contrast. Letting them hang naturally without a tie back is more up to date.
