Hi Guys,

We are now at the point where we need to make countertop decisions for our kitchen. The kitchen is L shaped with Chantilly Lace (Semi Gloss) cabinets and we really like the Sapienstone look.

We have heard some chipping horror stories and wanted to steer clear of that, so we were thinking of using Sapienstone (Calacatta Light) as our backsplash and then using quartz as the countertop (something that matches the white in Calacatta Light and is plain with minimal veining if at all).

Does that seem like a reasonable idea? Is Porcelain backsplash / quartz countertop a typical combination?
