Design Dilemma Polls Kitchens

Porcelain or cabinet finish hood

We are going for Sapienstone Arabescato Porcelain in our kitchen for both countertops and backsplash. One thing we are struggling to choose is whether to do a Porcelain or Cabinet finish on the hood. What do you all think?

I like the cabinet look better, but cabinet surface will be harder to clean. Is your ventilation system well designed to your type of cooking? Do you have to worry about grease covering the hood?...or is this only about looks?

The ventilation should be good. We got the Thermador 48" hood insert for the range that we bought so they are designed to work together. That said you raise a good point, I don't know how much of the grease goes into the vent vs the hood.
