Give it a couple of days. It should be fine.

I agree with utog. The crumpled leaves will hopefully rebound. As long as they didn’t freeze, the plant should respond. If it doesn’t un-crumple, you may have a funny looking leaf for awhile, but when the plant sends up it’s second wave of leaves, it may cover the leaf. My Krossa Regal sustained some damage during the frost last year. It had leaf breakage and wouldn’t you know, they were all in the front!! 😱

one thing i do know.. leave them alone.. all you can do is more damage ...

btw .. the first leave out... will be the oldest leaves by mid summer... remove them if they irritate you .. but right now.. they are coming up on stored energy ... soon the green leaves.. ugly or not.. will convert to processing sun to energy .. and away they go ... so leave them there ...

They do look a little better-when I put pots on the bigger ones I would ease the pot over, tuck in any leaves sticking out and spin the pot to try to settle all the leaves comfortably, Some leaves have slight folded lines. I am planning for this to be the last of the frosts acording to projected temps next week. Our last frost average date is April 15th. I think I am too attached to my plants. I do put out a lot of impatiens between the hosta/shade perennials so I know they will look okay once summer gets here. Deep breaths, deep breaths. On a happy note--my boy hummingbirds are back! I have seen them off and on for a week and the feeders are up.
