We are building a new construction forever home. Currently I have Pure white Shaker style cabinets for the wall and am waiting for walnut samples for the island. I have a few design dilemmas. I love the classic look of the Studio McGee kitchen. My budget is certainly not to that caliber so I am trying to emulate the look without breaking the bank. My one splurge might be the Kallista Quincy faucet in either silver nickel or Brass.

1.) Dilemma one: I am unsure if I should commit to such an expensive faucet in brass. Could I get away with doing a silver nickel finish ? Our appliances are stainless steel. Could I still go with Unlacquered brass hardware with a silver nickel faucet ??

2.) Dilemma two is Pure white going to be a good choice for the wall cabinets with a walnut island. I don’t want a mid century modern look. Does anyone have suggestions on an off white color that Showplace may offer ? Our windows are also white so that would be a combo to consider.
