I'm starting a few of Burpee's Harlequin ice plants (multicolored) — they'd be pretty young still, but I'd be happy to start more for anyone who'd like to try them. I didn't manage to get them to survive transplanting last year. :)

I’m excited for tomatoes, especially cherry tomatoes if there are any. As for flowers, anything that is either early blooming (like bulbs, I guess?) or late blooming (asters, hardy mums, etc).

Any idea how those do in the winter? I have lavendar ice plants down the side of my house that are great in the summer, but almost die back in the winter. We need to have a palnt that goes through the winter more or less intact to hold the soil in place.

The uniddentied yellow and white versions in our fron yard ar emuch more rubust in the winter.

I think the problem may be the ice plants down the side of your house don't get the snow melted off of them quick enough. We have alot of ice plants and I've noticed the ones that have sitting snow die over the winter. The ones that get it melted off pretty quickly do very well. The side of your house may be too shaded in the winter.

That may be. The side faces west which is #2 to south for exposure. It melts pretty quickly, but slower than the front (south). I guess that I can transplant some of the white and yellow ones and see what happen,

jerry, I found that my ice plant that was exposed to a lot of wind mostly died over the winter. Is your spot windy?

Dezi I would love some of your plants. Could I have a jalapeno, a sweet basil, a beef hybrid, yellow pear and a pineapple please? I started my tomatoes late and they are very small still! I can come pick them up this evening. I asked for a lot so if there is more interest I understand!

I will be potting up some of my big blue and white irises. I cannot remember the name of them. I also have some Larkspur babies I will pot up and if anyone needs daisies or Asters I can pot up some of those also.

At the swap, I'm hoping to have tomatoes and hot peppers, not sure which ones yet but Anaheim and Fresno peppers for sure. The superhots are doing better wrt the bugs so I hope to have lots of them, too. I'll make a list closer to the swap.

I only have the purple asters that I got from Skybird years ago. It's hardy and the bees love it when it blooms in the fall!

We will have lots of red tomatoes (about 30). There are three varieties; cherry, roma and Celebrity Hybrid. Unfortunately they are all labeled red tomato so grab a few and take your chances.

Tam Jalapeno (2) and Pumpkin Spice Jalapeno (2). Both supposed to be milder. May have 4 of each because (of course) we already put them in the garden and have to see if they survive this week with bucket covers. If they do will have 4 instead of 2. :-)

I'll have about 13 tomato plants that wanted to go in the ground a couple of weeks ago but should grow very well if buried deep. Maybe some sweet peppers and squash. I have quite a few seeds that probably will never use. Tomatoz1, will you pm the details?

oh yes all labeled on the envelops, lots of different heirloom tomatoes, many heirloom squash, heirloom pumpkins, heirloom radish (red and pink), red heirloom carrots (works in clay from farmer in Boulder)

Look what I picked up at King Soopers today! I have never grown them before. Anyone have advice?

A gardener in the community garden grew edamame from seed a few years back. He didn’t grow them on a fence, they grew pretty tall, and the bugs loved the plants! He did get a pretty good harvest though.

Best of luck with them and let us know if we should put them on our 2022 list.
